My gift to you a pen and a willing spirit,

Your gift to me the words that fill a page,

Words that come from far beyond my knowing,

From a deeper understanding of your ways.

But words come forth,

and quite without my knowledge.

Another line is set

a verse is filled with wisdom

and with simple understanding,

to share with those who’d listen

and be stilled.
