Waiting for the moment
Will I know when it is here
Am I waiting in vain
What I heard, was it clear

I don’t know how it will come
Or from whom it will begin
All I know is, it is coming
I just don’t know when

So many questions
I can’t begin to ask
Just thinking about the day
Is more than a task

Can my heart take the waiting
Will I stand till then
Will I start tomorrow like today
Waiting again

I will not make it happen
Through deception or strife
I will fulfill my destiny
But through His plan for my life

He promised, He cannot lie
I have a purpose to fulfill
I’m still waiting for the promise
You know, the one in His will
