1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
To Godâs holy people in Ephesus,[a] the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2Â Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he[b] predestined us for adoption to son-ship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and willâ 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Godâs grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he[d] made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfilmentâto bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

We all have times where what weâre hoping for is not happening as fast as we would like. Weâre believing in a breakthrough, to meet the right person, to see our family restored, but itâs been a long time. Itâs tempting to get sour and lose our passion. But while youâre waiting, instead of dragging [âŠ]

Having three kids in school and needing this and that can take a toll on a parent! It takes a major toll on me, I know! Some days, I can barely keep up. And if you are a parent like me, you are better off doing things yourself rather than asking and inconvencing others. My [âŠ]
For Those Days Who Have Days Like Me â Enlightened Thoughts

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I don’t mind telling you this but yesterday my wife and I went and bought a new double bed because the present one is done. After paying our deposit I started to worry where the rest of the payment was coming from.
After a little bit of prayer and thought that problem was answered. Just remember the next time your feeling anxious or worried about something bring it to God in prayer.

10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
11Â âAll who rage against you
    will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
    will be as nothing and perish.
12Â Though you search for your enemies,
    you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
    will be as nothing at all.
It’s probably a good job we don’t know what’s ahead of us for example we didn’t know Covid – 19 was going to raise it’s ugly head towards 2019. A couple of lockdowns on with vaccinations in September 2021 we’re still fighting the virus.
Meanwhile things have been happening else where.
Recently America has pulled their troops out of Afghanistan because of the troubles there, and on top of that New Orleans has been hit by a tornado
I shall not fear though darkened clouds may gather round me;
The God I serve is one who cares and understands;
Although the storms I face would threaten to confound me,
Of this I am assured: Iâm in His hands.
Iâm in His hands, Iâm in His hands;
Whateâer the future holds, Iâm in His hands;
The days I cannot see have all been planned for me;
His way is best, you see; Iâm in His hands.
What though I cannot know the way that lies before me,
I still can trust and freely follow His commands;
My faith is firm since He it is who watches oâer me;
Of this Iâm confident: Iâm in His hands.
In days gone by my Lord has always proved sufficient,
When I have yielded to the law of loveâs demands;
Why should I doubt that He would evermore be present
To make His will my own? Iâm in His hands!
Early this morning I was contacted by someone that runs a prayer network to do a bible reading and devotion, so here we go.
I eventually came up with the following reading
He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11 because Our good Shepherd gathers us in his arms and carries us âin his bosom,â a picture of intimacy and closeness and deep care, and he gently leads us.
I can testify to the fact that God does care for us at all times from joy to sadness.
As I write this I am thinking of the troubles in Afghanistan. I pray for Gods hand in that situation
Finally in the video we are reminded that God cares for us in a special way!
5 Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: âThe person who does these things will live by them.â[a] 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: âDo not say in your heart, âWho will ascend into heaven?ââ[b] (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 âor âWho will descend into the deep?ââ[c] (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).8 But what does it say? âThe word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,â[d] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:9 If you declare with your mouth, âJesus is Lord,â and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, âAnyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.â[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentileâthe same Lord is Lord of alland richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, âEveryone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.â[f]
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: âHow beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!â[g]
16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, âLord, who has believed our message?â[h] 17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. 18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did:
âTheir voice has gone out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.â[i]
19Â Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says,
âI will make you envious by those who are not a nation;
    I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.â[j]
20Â And Isaiah boldly says,
âI was found by those who did not seek me;
    I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.â[k]
21Â But concerning Israel he says,
âAll day long I have held out my hands
    to a disobedient and obstinate people.â[
