“And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.” (Genesis 1:16) On the fourth day of the creation week, God made the two lights for day and night, and then—almost like an afterthought—“he made the stars also.” Nothing, […]
Falling Apart — GraceSpeak

The coffee is hot! It’s ready – I’m not – to face the day that’s ahead. Many chores to be done before setting sun, but my feet keep turning toward bed. I cannot go out with a victory shout when my body is struggling to rise. My hair is askew – these wrinkles are new! […]

Christian Devotions, Health and General issues of the day

Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. When life’s sorrows roll over my soul, and my heart trembles. When confusion reigns in all […]

Great post as usual

Quarantine Day 53, NYC Well, we’ve officially surpassed the 50 day mark for quarantine. I feel like there should be some sort of consolation prize for that grim milestone. Like a four-pack of Charmin Ultra Soft and a handle of top shelf liquor or something. At the very least a travel size mini Purell hand…

You are not alone. The presence of the Lord is beside you. though cares may grow, He will never hesitate to guide you. The struggles of this life may seem to overcome, but you are not alone – for the Father cares for you. He is a friend that is closer than a brother, a […]

Covid-19 Lockdown 6

It was a sad start to this weeks lockdown when we discovered the death rate in Britain’s nursing home’s.
However the week brightened up as the days went on my wife and I got a quick visit from our Granddaughter and her mum as we were in the front garden.
It would be remiss of me to not to mention Captain /now Major Tom and to thank him for all the money he raised for the NHS.

Talking of the NHS the general public in the UK were out in force once again in support of these dedicated people.
I have never seen Facebook used in the way it is being used now. One video I seen was a brass band getting together on social media, and that’s just one example of what I have seen
I wonder what next week has in store for us. Anyway till the next lockdown post stay safe and well!
