So last night we went out with 2 other couples. Was a last minute thing.
Where we live there are a lot of Jewish young couples and they all know each other.
The restaurant that was picked was full of these couples and it was basically one big party.
Our table had 3 couples:
An extremely wealthy, smart, self made woman with her husband (who was actually related to me).
A horny jeweler married to a girl 10 years younger. His wealth level is not completely known but he is definitely doing ok with a $180k watch at his wrist.
And husband and I.
We were probably the least “wealthy” for not saying the in other words.
The wives were wearing both very expensive jewelry, had perfectly manicured hands.
I was wearing my Zanetti shoes which used to impress people, lol, not in this group of people.

I say to you I’m tired. And I am. I’m tired of life. I’m tired of my head. I’m tired of everything I cannot change. I’m tired of fighting.
I say I’m tired. And I am. But I’m hiding behind it. I’m not sure what I feel. I don’t have the capacity to know or understand my feelings so I’m tired will have to do as I’m too tired to work it out.
I’m tired. I’m exhausted. My body and mind don’t want to work. My head is thumping. My limbs are aching. Sleep doesn’t help. I want to be in bed. I want to give up. I want to hide away.
I’m tired. Of being a burden. Of being a failure. Of being a no good human being. Of being the worst of everything…
1. If you lie and choose to break your partner’s trust, he or she may never fully trust you again. The damage will depend on how major the lie is … But often the effects will be serious and long-lasting …
For how can you determine if they’re lying in the future? You were hood-winked in the past so it could happen once again.
2. Once trust has been broken, things can never be the same. There will always be a tiny hairline crack in the mirror. You can’t reverse the damage, or eradicate all traces. The facts are still the facts, and the memories remain.
3. Betrayal stops a person from equating trust and love. Now, trust has to be earned, and it must be verified. A person has to prove they are worthy of your love. Saying “
14 He said, “My presence will go with you, and I’ll give you rest.” 15 Then Moses told the LORD, “If your presence does not go with us, don’t bring us up from here. 16 Otherwise, how shall it be known that your people and I have received favor from you, unless you go with us and that we, your people and I, are distinguished from all the people on the surface of the earth?” 17 The LORD told Moses, “I’ll do the very thing that you have said, because you have found favor in my sight and I know you by name.” 18 Then Moses said, “Please show me your glory.”
There isn’t a video I can think of that is more suited to the reading above than this one.
As you listen to the video you will hear it is a song of praise and testimony especially in the chorus where we not only seek his grace, we also ask his glory to fall upon us asking I’m to guide us
I started putting all my boxes outside carefully hiding the 50 magazine that I was throwing out as we had another 50 in the living room. If husband saw them he would have brought them back in.
I was out in my PJs with a winter coat on top (mind you May mornings in NY feel like full winter) when I hear my husband roar my name.
He asked me to drive him to the station. I yelled back I had to change and will take him.
Time 3 1/2 seconds to change at least my pants as I don’t like to wear outside (car etc) what I wear to bed, and I was in the car.
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, 3 those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.[a]
4 Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. 5 They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. 6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 7 He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. 8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, 9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
10 Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains, 11 because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High. 12 So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help. 13 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 14 He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. 15 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, 16 for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.
17 Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities. 18 They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death. 19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 20 He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. 21 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. 22 Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.
23 Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters. 24 They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep. 25 For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. 26 They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away. 27 They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end. 28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. 29 He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea[b] were hushed. 30 They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. 31 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. 32 Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders.
33 He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground, 34 and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there. 35 He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs; 36 there he brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city where they could settle. 37 They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest; 38 he blessed them, and their numbers greatly increased, and he did not let their herds diminish.
39 Then their numbers decreased, and they were humbled by oppression, calamity and sorrow; 40 he who pours contempt on nobles made them wander in a trackless waste. 41 But he lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks. 42 The upright see and rejoice, but all the wicked shut their mouths.
43 Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord.
